Film & Media Studies production courses utilize Canon digital video cameras.  Our Canon 70D's offer both our beginning and our advanced-level students tapeless, HD technology. Independent study students have access to our most advanced camera package, the Sony NEX-FS100. A Bolex camera package and on-campus dark room afford interested students the unique experience of shooting and processing 16mm film.

The department also has an array of professional production ancillary equipment - Manfrotto tripods, Fig Rig handheld devices, Zoom audio recorders, Sennheiser shotgun microphones, Sony wireless mic systems, and Lowell lighting packages.  All that a student needs to create a polished and professional video project is available for check-out in our equipment room.
