Digital & Social Media Strategist



Office: Franklin & Marshall College


As part of Franklin & Marshall College's broader communications strategy, Tim Brixius coordinates content for and maintains the College's institutional social media presence—including accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest. He provides guidance to other departments and offices managing their own social media profiles as well.

Additionally, Tim provides design and content management support for the Franklin & Marshall College website, including F&M News, blogs and the online version of Franklin & Marshall Magazine.

During his years as a history student at Franklin & Marshall College, Tim worked as a design intern in the publications office; built websites for the National Museum of American History, the Lancaster County Historical Society and the Pinegrove Historical Society; and played trombone in College ensembles.

He began his career in 2000 as the first full-time employee devoted to maintaining the F&M's web presence.


Received a B.A. in history from Franklin & Marshall College in 2000.

Currently working toward an M.A. in American studies from Penn State Harrisburg.
