  • Charles Johnson

    Major: Dance Major, Anthropology Minor

    Charley's interests usually guide him towards the dance studio where they continue to work on their own choreography as well as performing both historical and contemporary pieces. They also have a love for all things art and can be found at many performances and gallery openings. One fun fact about Charley is that they lived in Latvia as a child!


  • Claire Mendelson

    Major: Joint Major in Sociology and Public Health

    In addition to tour guiding and schoolwork, I am currently serving as the president of my a cappella group, the Poor Richards! We’re the oldest and only co-ed a cappella group on campus. I’m also the house manager of the Arts House, and on the executive board of the Alice Drum Women’s Center. I’m an avid tie dye enthusiast, and can be found frequenting the dog park, just around the corner.


  • Danielle Sang

    Major: Public Health (Government Track), Environmental Studies Minor

    Danielle is an always-smiling, ice cream loving, F&M student. When she is not in her second home of Shadek-Fackenthal Library, Danielle can be found leading fabulous tours. Around campus she also serves on our student body government, the Diplomatic Congress; is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority; works as a Diplomat Health Advocate with F&M’s Office of Student Wellness Programs; and a member of the F&M Model UN Team. Danielle hopes to effect change in national health policy when she grows up. Fun fact: Danielle is F&M’s best hula hooper.


  • Grant Salley

    Major: Joint BOS and Environmental Studies Major

    Grant is a junior who is passionate about the environment and specifically renewable energy technologies. Grant grew up on a farm and has a twin who goes to University of Virginia and an older brother who attends James Madison University. Grant is involved in the Alumni Student Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT), the Outdoors Club, Phi Kappa Psi, and the Housing Advisor program. He plans to obtain a joint major in Business Organizations in Society and Environmental Studies, and in his spare time he likes spending time with friends, playing pick up basketball, and going on hikes around the area.



  • Hannah Kowalewski

    On campus, Hannah’s extracurricular activities include varsity women’s soccer, symphonic wind ensemble, Black Pyramid Senior Honors Society, Benjamin Rush Pre-Health Honor Society, Mu Upsilon Sigma Honor Society, and Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow.  During her junior year, she studied abroad in Bocas del Toro, Panama and participated in a program focused on Tropical Island Biodiversity Studies.  


  • Joshua Yoo

    Major: Scientific and Philosophical Studies of the Mind- Cognitive Science 

    Joshua is involved in a variety of organizations on campus including Phi Kappa Sigma, one of F&M’s oldest fraternities on campus, where he served as Rush and Marketing Chair. He is also a member of I.M.P.A.C.T, an open social group motivated in bringing people together and promoting social activism on campus, as well as M.U.S, F&M’s music honor society. In his free time, Joshua enjoys utilizing Lancaster’s wonderful farmer’s markets and hiking trails to cook and travel with his friends.

    Lizzy is a junior intending to major in Business and minor in Psychology. She spent her fall semester freshman year in Dublin, Ireland taking classes, traveling, and getting caught in the rain. On the Franklin and Marshall Campus, Lizzy is involved in many extracurricular activities including sorority events, voice ensembles, and casual coffee shop dates with her and her computer. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to be a Tour Guide, which allows her to get to know incoming students by showing them F&M through her eyes.


  • Max Olsan

    Major: BOS (Business, Organizations, and Society) and Economics Joint Major 

    Outside of classes, I am heavily involved in my fraternity and the IFC (Interfraternity Council), and am in the Entrepreneurship Club, Business Club, Economics Club, and Students for Autism Awareness club as well.  I also play club soccer, which has been a passion of mine since a very young age.  I plan to begin my career in investment banking, after becoming fascinated with the entire industry after watching “Too Big to Fail” early on in High School.  In my spare time, I hang out with friends, play soccer, and keep up on general market, financial, and economic news.


  • Mihika Miranda

    Major: Joint major in Theater and Creative Writing, Anthropology Minor

    Mihika enjoys anything to do with the performing arts. She is the Vice-President of F&M Players, a brother of Phi Sigma Pi, a member of the F&M Dance Company and works as a tour guide. She loves performing, exercising her creativity, crafting, and exploring. She hopes to be an Artistic Director of a theatre when she returns to India. Fun Fact: She worked on an underwater excavation of a Roman shipwreck in Caesarea, Israel!


  • Rebecca Buchanan

    Hometown: Asheville, North Carolina

    Major: Government & Religious Studies

    Rebecca is a member of F&M Dance Company, F&M Players, and does various technical work for the TDF Department. She is also a member of the John Marshall Pre-Law Honor Society, Phi Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity, and performs annually in the Vagina Monologues. She has studied abroad in Switzerland and South Africa and hopes to visit more countries that begin with S in the future. She intends to study International Humanitarian Law and is conducting independent research in the Religious Studies Department (ask her about it!). In a rare moment of free time Rebecca can be found watching Criminal Minds on Netflix and experimenting with grilled cheese combinations.


  • Ryan Whalen

    Major: Business & Public Policy Joint Major, Economics Minor

    Ryan is a junior who had so much trouble choosing what to study, he settled on 3 departments. Outside of the classroom and the office of admissions, he sits on two of the college faculty committees, conducts research in the government department, and is a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. After spending the past summer in Lancaster, he plans to stick around this summer as well continuing research and interning/working in beautiful downtown Lancaster.


  • Shakeyla Flores

    Major: Philosophy, Science, Technology and Society Minor

    Shakeyla Flores is a Posse Scholar from Miami, Florida and plans on becoming an attorney. On campus, she is an HA and serves as a mentor and advisor to student residents. Not only that, but Shakeyla is a dedicated member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, F&M's Spoken Word and Poetry Club called LIFT, and volunteers with the College Entertainment Committee. She has also been an active member of the Diplomatic Congress Student Government by serving as former Community Outreach Chair and current Executive Board Treasurer. Shakeyla also plays a major role in S.I.S.T.E.R.S., a women’s empowerment and mentorship club, by serving as former Social Chair and current Co-President. Ironically, Shakeyla was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania but spent much of her life growing up in Florida. Raised in a Puerto Rican household, Shakeyla is a fluent speaker in Spanglish!

    Hello Everyone!

    My name is Anna Catherine and I am from Birmingham, Alabama. Besides being a tour guide on campus, I am involved with the vivarium and in Phi Sigma Pi, the national co-ed honor fraternity, we have here on campus. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking and camping. Anything outdoors really! I will be leading our pre-orientation backpacking trip, FOOT, this coming school year for new first-years! I hope to go to vet school after F&M! Fun Fact: I can lick my elbow!


  • Bonnie Sullivan

    Major: Government Major, Environmental Studies Minor

    Bonnie is a sophomore government major and environmental studies minor from Houston, Texas. When not studying or running, she can be found chatting alums up as a Dip Dialer, assisting her first-year residents as a Hall Advisor, or exploring downtown Lancaster in her cowboy boots. Also involved in the sustainability scene, Bonnie is both a member of the Diplomatic Congress Sustainability Committee and the Environmental Action Alliance, and hopes to one day work for an environmental non-profit.

    Fun Fact: My favorite candy is Twix. I am not a huge candy guy but if I do care to indulge then I will certainly indulge in a Twix. At Franklin and Marshall I play lacrosse, I am a PIT PA (PIT is a service oriented pre-orientation program, and stands for Putting It Together), I am apart of Financial Honors Society and Greek life. I am very talkative and I love to meet new people.


  • Dolly Segal

    Hi, my name is Dolly Segal, and I'm from right outside of Philadelphia, PA. I am a member of Brooks House Congress, and their event planning committee. I am also a member of the 2019 Class Cabinet as the Executive Communications Chair. I am a sister of Chi Omega Sorority on campus, and I like to participate in many of the philanthropic events sponsored by the Sorority and Fraternity life on campus. My favorite thing to do in Lancaster is try new restaurants with my friends. After falling in love with my Government major and the department here at F&M, I have aspirations to attend law school following graduation.


  • Evan Shlom

    Major: Financial Economics Special Studies Major (Economics/Public Policy/Business)

    Evan is the kind of guy you bring home to your parents.  He is the chief founder and first president of F&M’s Investing Club, in addition to being involved with the Economics Club and Greek Life.  He also slaps the bass and jams with his French horn in a three-man alternative rock band with two other F&M students.  As a freshman Evan was a linebacker for F&M Football.  He is no longer on the team but still balls with as much passion as when he gives tours of the Franklin & Marshall campus.  His favorite color is goldenrod.

    Coming from the rainy city of Seattle, I decided to become a Hall Advisor where I help students go through their first year of college. I’m also I’m apart of Greek life here on campus (ADPi). I am very passionate about Immunology and anything that involves science! When I was three my parents told me that I was allergic to chocolate so I didn’t eat it until high school where I realized I was never allergic. Now I just hate chocolate. I also love giraffes.


  • Isabel Monge

    Isabel is a sophomore at Franklin & Marshall. Her involvements on campus include membership in Greek Life, Secretary of Sophomore Class Cabinet, member of Bystander Intervention Committee, and, of course, working in the Office of Admissions as a tour guide. Off campus, Isabel enjoys volunteering at a local public elementary school and exploring downtown Lancaster. During her free time, Isabel can by found studying in Shad, spending time with friends on Hartman Green, or swinging on the rope swing at the College President Dr. Porterfield’s house!

    On campus, I’m involved with student government as Sophomore Class President, Bonchek Congress Treasurer, a member of Club Council, and a member of Greek life. I love being able to have the opportunity to host events on campus for students in my class that foster class unity. I recently declared my Psychology major and in the future plan on focusing in trauma. I love walking over to MeanCup after class, it’s my favorite place to do homework and get coffee!


  • Keith Kamons

    I am a Math major intending on doing the 3-2 Engineering program.  After starting at F&M I developed an interest in the Chinese language and culture, so I am involved with the F&M East Asian Scholars club. Outside of the classroom I am a member of the varsity swim team, cycling club and triathlon club.


  • Lillie Day

    Major: Sociology/Public Health

    Lillie's biggest involvement on campus is in student government and leadership. She is the social chair of Ware College House Parliament and plans super fun events for house residents and members. She is also Chaplain of Kappa Delta Sorority and reads way too many Brené Brown quotes during chapter meetings. Lillie's biggest passions are border conflicts, social justice, and the "Dogspotting" Facebook page. She has plans to attend law school after she graduates. She is a former competitive Irish dancer (10 years!) and her favorite meme is obviously the timeless "doge".

    Hi, I'm Maggie! I'm a Government major and hope to attend Law School after F&M. I row for the women's rowing team on campus, as well as a member of Greek Life. People consider me a towny as I am born and raised in Lancaster. My hobbies include, shopping, eating ice cream and working out. Fun fact about me is that I am just a Maggie, not a Margaret. 

  • Michael Morette

    I am from the suburbs of Chicago and therefore a major Chicago sports fan, especially the Chicago Bears (and yes, I’m still a big fan despite the fact that we’re terrible). On campus, I am an active student as I am involved in a number of things. I am the Chair of Weis College House, a House Advisor, and a Marshall Fellow. I hope to use my Marshall Fellowship to complete a service-based agricultural project in Haiti. After college, I wish to either go to law school or graduate school for public policy.


  • Misa Katagi

    Misa is a sophomore from Japan. But has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo before coming to Lancaster, and prides herself in the fact that she has moved houses 12 times in her life. On campus, she also works for international admissions, and is also involved in a coed Greek organization, the ultimate frisbee team and the international club. One thing she loves is the beautiful sunrise view from her dorm room. Since she loves to travel, she plans to make the most out of the study abroad programs here at F&M to see more of the world.

He is interested in analytics and hangs out on Hartman Green during his free time. Fun fact: He can twist his arm around 360 degrees.

When I am not studying, working, or participating in my extracurricular activities, I love to spend time outside and hang out with my friends and family.     I am involved in a plethora of different organizations on this campus.  I am a varsity coxswain for the Men’s Rowing team, play double bass in the orchestra, sing in the all-male acapella group the Chessmen, am a member of Mu Upsilon Sigma the music honors society on campus, a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity, I’m in the College Democrats Club, a member of the class of 2019 caucus, an HA in Brooks College House, a member of the Building Better Leaders Seminar, in the F&M Players club, and of course a tour guide!

    My name is Tanner Erisman and I am in my second year of tour guiding here at Franklin and Marshall College. I am involved with a few different things on campus along with tour guiding. I am the Quarterback on the football team, a javelin thrower on the Track and field team, and a barber at Tanner's Trims. I am a leader of the group DCF (Diplomat Christian Fellowship), and also attend Intervarsity. I enjoy hanging out with friends and riding my bike. I once drove from Lancaster to Southern California and back on a road trip and it was a lot of fun.

    My name is Yousra Chaabane and I am currently a Sophomore at Franklin and Marshall College. I am an international student from the Netherlands and I am pursuing a government major and an Arabic minor. On campus, I work as a tour guide for the Office of Admission and I work as a student intern for the Office of Student and Post-Graduate Development. Also, I am currently doing primary research with Professor Dicklitch-Nelson, as I assist her in creating the Global Gay Rights Barometer.  Besides that, I am a Housing Advisor in Ware College House and I am a member of the International Student Advisory Board. When I have a bit of free time I love to visit the downtown area and discover a new place to get good coffee.

  • Alex Pinsk

    Major: Intended Classics and Government Double Major, French Minor

    Alex is a First-Year. She is an active member of the Ultimate Frisbee team and French Club. She is also an editor for the College Reporter and a representative for Brooks House Congress. Alex is involved in Greek life on campus, and, of course, loves spending time at the admissions office and giving tours. She enjoys baking and loves dogs. Her favorite spot on campus is LSP where she can grab a grilled cheese and then sit and study before class. Alex loves being outdoors, particularly walking to Buchanan park where she can channel her inner eight year-old and swing at the playground


  • Donald Peacock

    Donald Peacock is a fun-loving 19-year-old first-year student. He has joined many clubs including the Black Student Union, Rugby, and the First Generation Diplomats. Along with F&M Players and Bonchek College House, Donald has managed to become versatile and diverse in the arts and humanities despites his intended scientific studies. In his free time, he loves talking with friends, family, and professors and plans to advances his knowledge in social interactions.


  • Ella Walker

    On campus, I volunteer for an urban squash program called Squash ACES, and am a member of the executive board for SAGA, F&M’s LGBTQA group. I go to club meetings for both College Democrats and College Republicans, and am active in Planned Parenthood Generation Action. I am an avid napper and have seen every episode of The Office at least 5 times.


  • Jack Altomonte

    Being the passionate and outgoing person I am, I’m involved in many different clubs and organizations on campus. To start, I’m in a social fraternity, and because of this, I do a lot of philanthropic work, especially with the Boys and Girls Club. I am also in a couple of clubs including: DipDental, Debate and F&M Spoon. I realize this sounds like a rather eclectic group of clubs, however, it showcases me and my personality due to the fact that I never tend to fit neatly into a particular box or category. Being versatile, I wanted a college that offered opportunities to express all aspects of my true self, and at F&M, I am free to do just that!

    Besides being a tour guide, I am a part of SISTERS, Asian-American Alliance, Cooking Club, First-Gen Dips, Art Club, the CEC, and the Choom Chu K-pop Dance Club. I also work as a data collector at the North Museum, and I am both an SEO Scholar and Breakthrough New York Student. While it may seem like a lot, Google Calendar helps organize my life, so it's all good. When I am not studying or comfortably watching Netflix in my room, I like biking, swimming, photographing, and practicing yoga. I also went skydiving and I organize my family trips abroad.

    I was born in the Dominican Republic but now live in New York City. I am a first year here at Franklin and Marshall. On campus I am involved with the the S.I.S.T.E.R.S club, Diversity council, Hair Junkies and Mi Gente Latina and play rugby. I am very passionate about helping others and I aspire to work as an ambassador in the United Nations in the near future. Fun fact: I have been on the longest zipline in the world.

    At F&M I am involved with Quidditch, Pickup Soccer, Environmental Action Alliance, Interfaith Council, Club Waterpolo, and exploring and enjoying as much as I can. I am a gamer at heart, whether it’s with sports like water polo or soccer or a computer game, I like to see everything as a fun challenge. I am also passionate about understanding myself and enjoying my life along with growing in the direction I want to as a human being. I also like to take photos of the sky. One fun fact about me is that I plan on getting certified as a skydiver after I graduate.



  • Nithya Kumar

    Major: Hopefully Biology, Public Health on the Bio track, or Neuroscience!

    On campus, I am involved in several things! I am in Bonchek Congress (each college house has its own house government), Diplomatic Congress (F&M student government), a member of Kappa Delta sorority, a violist in F&M’s symphony orchestra and Philharmonia, and a member of Mu Upsilon Sigma (music honor society). Other than being a tour guide, my other job on campus is being the sports medicine assistant for all of the varsity athletic teams. I am passionate about the sciences, especially medicine, so I hope to become some type of doctor in the future!


  • Zoe Katz

    Zoe is a first year here at F&M and a proud dip! In addition to being a tour guide on campus, she plays on the ultimate frisbee team and is involved with house government, French club, Colleges Against Cancer, and greek life. Zoe loves hanging out with old people and volunteers weekly downtown at the Moravian day care center for senior adults. In her free time, Zoe enjoys hiking, biking, baking, and petting dogs at Beau's dream park. A fun fact about Zoe is that her childhood pet was a beloved fish named raspberry Columbus.
