With the worldwide distribution of the COVID vaccines and the CDC mandate that international travel does not present a risk to vaccinated individuals, travel is definitely in our future. However, your safety and comfort in traveling remain our number one priority. We are continuing to work closely with our travel partners regarding safety protocols on our programs.

We look forward to welcoming you on this unique trip to France to explore the role of the United States and Franklin & Marshall College students and alumni in the last century’s two world wars. We are especially excited to pay tribute to the contributions and sacrifices
of F&M soldiers. Your trip staff are F&M professors bringing their expertise to provide you with a unique and educational experience. They want to share their insights into these historic events and the interwar culture of American expatriates in Paris.
We are very selective of the tour operators we work with and have great confidence in their approach and management of this situation. Their experienced staff is continually evaluating the situation, utilizing the latest information from the U.S. State Department, the CDC, and the World Health Organization. They also are monitoring information from, and actions taken by, other governments and media sources. Finally, and most importantly, we rely on their extensive network of international ground staff and supplier partners — these are the individuals that are actually in-country and know first-hand what is going on there. In addition, the tour operators, along with the hotels in the country are undertaking strict safety protocols for your protection. For additional information, we encourage you to visit the CDC Travel Website.
