Leading and Learning in Uncertain Times

Common Hour - Leading and Learning in Uncertain Times

Barbara K. Altmann
President, Franklin & Marshall College

Barbara K. Altmann, Ph.D. became the 16th president of Franklin & Marshall College in August 2018. Since joining the F&M community, President Altmann has championed the power of a liberal arts education to launch leaders at all levels. In this common hour talk, President Altmann draws on poetry and a panel conversation to reflect on how we are learning to live in conditions of which we have no previous experience, to prepare for a world that is irrevocably changed. Student leaders Adney Silva '22, Hermela Assefa '22, and Holly Batchelder '23 join her in this timely conversation about our shared, yet diverse experiences of leading and learning during a global pandemic.

Recorded Sept. 9, 2020.
