Alexis BonamassaAssociate Director, Fraternity & Sorority Life
I began my higher education journey as a radio, TV, and film major at Rider University in New Jersey. I took part in many activities, such as becoming a resident assistant (RA) and peer mentor, as well as engaging in student government and Greek Life, where I was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma. This was where I truly found my place and what I wanted to be involved in long-term.
After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in 2016, I took a job as a house director for my sorority at the University of Rhode Island and started my master's degree work a year later. After three wonderful years in RI, I graduated with my Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Concentration in College Student Personnel in 2019. I began my professional career as the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Organizational Involvement at Campbell University in North Carolina at the end of 2019, and then moved to Pennsylvania in 2021 to accept the position of Assistant Director of Student Activities and Orientation for Greek Life and Student Leadership at York College of Pennsylvania (YCP). I left YCP in June of 2024 and began here at F&M as the Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life in August of 2024.
