Biography

Jeremy Moss is an independent film programmer and experimental filmmaker. He has organized and curated programs for the Moviate Underground Film Festival, Gleaners Film Festival, and the Gleaners Film Club weekly cinema series. In his creative practice, he uses both film and video often blending and overlapping a number of genres and modes -- including, surrealist nonfiction, experimental fiction, personal film, dance film, and 16mm film emulsion-based abstraction. His work has been presented at prominent venues, including Artist Television Access, Anthology Film Archives, TIFF Lightbox, UnionDocs, Microscope Gallery, and Northwest Film Forum; and at festivals such as Chicago Underground, CROSSROADS, Antimatter Experimental Film Festival, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, and Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival. Moss’ films and videos are distributed by Light Cone.
