Research in Psychology
Many students take advantage of opportunities to present their research findings in professional journals and at conferences of national associations such as the Association for Psychological Science, the Cognitive Science Society and the Society for Neuroscience.
The Psychology Department at Franklin and Marshall College provides a diverse selection of research topics. The research has been divided into four categories, but many may overlap because the world of psychology is extremely complex! Research topics include: Perception & Physiology; Development & Cognition; Personality, Social & Psychopathology; and Evolution & Adaptation.
