F&M Welcomes First Members of Class of 2030
Nearly 200 remarkable students from around the world are admitted to F&M after applying Early Decision; the next application deadline is Jan. 15
Franklin & Marshall College has admitted the first members of the Class of 2030, selecting from the pool of Early Decision I applicants a group of approximately 200 driven, curious students who will arrive on campus in fall 2026.
The first members of the Class of 2030 have already shown their passion for the hands-on learning and purpose-driven leadership that are defining features of the F&M experience. In addition to excellent academic performance, these students have spent time exploring their passions and connecting with their communities — and are ready to do the same at Franklin & Marshall.
“We are delighted that so many bright, talented students have made Franklin & Marshall their top-choice college,” said M. Leslie Davidson, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “I am inspired by their accomplishments and ambition, and I cannot wait to see how they make F&M an even more vibrant place to live and learn. They will make their mark on F&M and the world as scholars, innovators, leaders, and citizens.”
Among those admitted are the founder of a project that creates traditional Vietnamese clothing for people with physical differences; the lead vocalist and violinist for a bluegrass band; and the Guinness World Record holder for the largest dombra lesson (a dombra is a two-string Kazakh instrument).
Members of the Class of 2030 have already spent time researching the growth and cultivation of bamboo while planting bamboo trees to reduce erosion risk, creating a secret superhero persona who spreads joy through a school news channel, and studying with a Cantonese opera master.
When they arrive at F&M in fall 2026, the admitted students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into their existing interests and explore new ones, developing the skills and forming the connections that will prepare them for even more extraordinary endeavors and careers.
The rest of the Class of 2030 will be selected from the Early Decision II and Regular Decision applicant pools. The EDII and RD deadline is Jan. 15.
