Franklin & Marshall College and American University’s Kogod School of Business Expand Graduate Opportunities
Franklin & Marshall College has established a graduate partnership with American University’s Kogod School of Business in Washington, D.C., offering F&M students and alumni streamlined access to advanced degree programs in business, analytics, and global policy.
The latest partnership adds to F&M’s growing list of participating degree partner institutions. Through this partnership, admitted students receive a guaranteed $20,000 scholarship toward any of Kogod’s specialized master’s degrees—plus a waived GMAT/GRE requirement and application fee.
“This exciting new partnership strengthens postgraduate options for Franklin & Marshall alumni, expanding access to the top-ranked business programs offered by American University,” said Sunita Kramer '92, F&M provost and dean of the faculty.
F&M alumni with three or more years of professional work experience are also eligible to apply to Kogod's M.B.A. program through the partnership. The program is ranked No. 33 in Bloomberg Businessweek's Best B-Schools and No. 3 in Corporate Knights' Better World MBA ranking of sustainable business programs.
This initiative pairs F&M’s rigorous multidisciplinary curriculum with Kogod’s commitment to technology-driven, ethically conscious leadership. As Washington, D.C.’s oldest AACSB-accredited business school, Kogod embeds artificial intelligence and sustainable business practice into its coursework, positioning graduates to lead in corporate, government, and non-profit environments.
"What excites me about this partnership is the opportunity to help Franklin & Marshall students and alumni connect their liberal arts education with what they want to do next in their careers,” said Sarah Mady, assistant dean for strategic initiatives at Kogod. “At Kogod, we look forward to helping them build on their ability to think critically, understand people, and consider different perspectives with business knowledge and practical skills—whether they want to pursue a career in marketing, help businesses become more sustainable, use analytics to guide decisions, or work across international markets.”
The collaboration expands postgraduate pathways across Kogod master's degree programs:
- Accounting (M.S.)
- Analytics and AI (M.S.)
- Business Administration (M.B.A.)
- Finance (M.S.)
- International Relations & Business (M.S.)
- Marketing (M.S.)
- Marketing Analytics (M.S.)
- Sustainability Management (M.S.)
F&M students and alumni seeking to pursue graduate study through the new partnership can work directly with a dedicated Kogod admissions counselor throughout the entire process. Counselors will help applicants partner with academic advisors and career development staff to align their coursework and application materials.
The scholarship is effective for any current F&M senior or F&M graduate seeking to apply to in the spring 2027 application cycle and beyond. Learn more about the partnership between F&M and Kogod.
