Check out nearby student favorites like Mean Cup, New Holland Coffee Co., and Passenger Coffee. Or visit The Diplomatic Cafe and spend some time in one of the coziest places on campus.
2. Catch a Diplomat game, meet or match

Cheer on one of F&M’s 28 varsity sports teams or eight club teams. In-season winter sports include basketball, squash, swimming, track & field, and wrestling.
3. Browse a local bookstore

Lancaster was named one of the best U.S. cities for book lovers in 2024. Find your next great read at one of our local independent bookstores like Pocket Books Shop, Read Rose Books, or Nooks.
4. See a show

Find tickets to upcoming shows on campus through the F&M Box Office, or make a trip downtown to local establishments like the Fulton Theatre, Prima Theatre, West Art, or Zoetropolis. Looking for a bite to eat before doors open? Check out our list of nearby restaurants.
5. Game on

If a bit of friendly competition is what you’re looking for, stop by Decades for a round of bowling and some classic arcade games. If you’re more interested in finding something new for your next board game night, check out Farbo Co., a game and hobby store located near Lancaster Central Market.
