Make the Most of Your Spring Visit to F&M
When you become an F&M Diplomat, your college experience will extend beyond our campus and into the vibrant city of Lancaster. If you’re planning a visit to campus this spring, add a stop at one of our favorite spots and get a glimpse of what it’s like to call Lancaster home.
Please note that campus tours are offered Monday through Friday and select Saturdays. Information sessions are offered on Monday through Friday, and on-campus interviews are offered on Fridays only. Register for tours and info sessions here.
Experience the Great Outdoors
Look for signs of spring at F&M’s Spalding Conservancy or soak up the sunshine at a nearby park. Want to explore more of Lancaster County on foot or by bicycle? Check out this list of nearby trails.
Immerse Yourself in the Arts
Once you’ve visited F&M’s very own Phillips Museum of Art, enjoy Lancaster’s local arts scene with a visit to Gallery Row, a three-block cluster of art galleries less than two miles from campus. If you’re interested in dance or theatre, make sure to check the F&M Box Office for upcoming student performances.
Sample International Flavors
You’ll find a global community on and off campus at F&M, including local restaurants featuring flavors from around the world. Check out nearby options for Mexican, Himalayan, Italian, or Thai cuisine, or visit Southern Market for a taste of everything from classic schnitzel to Colombian-Laotian fusion.
Explore Local History
Lancaster is a modern city with a rich history. Dive into the city’s past with a visit to the Lancaster Campus of History, an award-winning local history museum located one mile from campus. Or explore historic sites in downtown Lancaster on foot with a walking tour.
Grab a Sweet Treat
Make sure to leave room for dessert at Lancaster Cupcake, Rolled Cold Creamery, or Splits & Giggles—all student favorites located a short distance from campus.
