Members of Class of 2030 Explore Campus at Early Enrollment Day

Members of Franklin & Marshall College’s Class of 2030 had a chance to preview campus life and picture themselves as members of the campus community at Early Enrollment Day on March 27. Students who identified F&M as their top choice and applied early decision spent the day learning more about the campus they’ll soon call home through tours, student panels, and more. 

All admitted students can get a closer look at what it means to be a Diplomat at F&M Unlocked: Admitted Student Day on Friday, April 10, or Saturday, April 18. 

Below, hear from some of the members of the Class of 2030 about how they knew F&M was right for them and what they’re most looking forward to experiencing when they arrive on campus at the end of August.

Why did you choose to apply Early Decision to F&M?

“I walked onto the campus, and I knew it was going to be the perfect fit.” –Mia (Norwalk, Conn.)

“I had heard a lot of great things, especially to do with the culture and Lancaster. Being here and meeting some of the current and incoming soccer players has been very welcoming, and I’ve had a great day.” –Ellis (Harrison, N.Y.)

“I think I’ll be able to do well here academically, and I think it’ll help me prepare for the future.” –Ehi (Memphis, Tenn.)

“I chose F&M because I had a connection with the wrestling coach and a couple of guys on the team. Academics is also a huge part of why I wanted to go to college, and I thought this was a great fit.” –Brody (Ephrata, Pa.)

What are you most looking forward to about the next four years?

“Figuring out what I want to do with my life. I like history and political science, but that may change—I may find something else. I like the fact that I can check out different things and see what I like.” –Mikhail (West Chester, Pa.)

“I’m excited for the community outreach opportunities here.” —Kaylana (Lancaster, Pa.)

“I’m excited to be playing college basketball and meeting new friends. I’m looking forward to being in the Diplomatic Leadership program.” —Maddie (Florham Park, N.J.)

“I’m most excited to meet new people and to learn everything I possibly can.” –Gabriella (Long Island, N.Y.)
