At Franklin & Marshall, LGBTQ+ faculty, students, staff, and their allies are committed to working toward greater awareness, visibility, and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community. The Alice Drum Women’s Center, Queer Studies Faculty Caucus, Sexuality and Gender Alliance, and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program provide community and support for LGBTQ+ life, scholarship, pedagogy, and outreach.

Interested in Building Community with Fellow LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff?
There is a Google group for LGBTQ+ members of the F&M faculty and staff who wish to receive and share information about social gatherings, issues of interest to the community, and local events.
Members' names will be kept private, and membership is open to any staff or faculty members who self-identify as LGBTQ+. If you choose to send a message to the list, your name and e-mail will be visible to the other members of the group. First All-Campus Forum on LGBTQ+ Life at F&M
On April 3rd, 2018, campus organizations and programs came together to host the first All-Campus Forum on LGBTQ+ Life at F&M. Chair of the Board of Trustees, Sue Washburn '73, gave an introduction, which was followed by a panel of F&M students, professional staff, and faculty as well as an audience Q&A. Susan Dicklitch-Nelson, the head of the new LGBQ+ taskforce, gave closing remarks.
The event was supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for Catalyzing F&M's Pathways to Faculty Diversification and Inclusive Pedagogy and co-sponsored by the Alice Drum Women’s Center; Queer Studies Faculty Caucus; Sexuality and Gender Alliance; and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program.
