CPS Marshall Project: Lion Rehabilitation in Antelope Park, Zimbabwe
"As an environmental science major, I chose to go to Antelope Park Game Reserve in Zimbabwe over winter break to work with the African Lion Environmental Research Trust (ALERT) on a new conservation method to rebuild Africa’s struggling lion populations. I learned a lot about the social behavior and biology of lions, as well as the obstacles in wildlife conservation, while being able to help out with the daily tasks at Antelope Park. It was an unforgettable trip, and I am very thankful to have had this opportunity! "
