Yunge Yu '19, ASSETS Internship

  • PSSI

I joined the PSSI program because I want to explore more of Lancaster, which I have been living for three years. The PSSI program integrates an internship in a non-profit organization and a community development project. Having the two experience connected, I learned much about the problems of gender-equality, racial equality, and poverty in both Lancaster City and County, using my knowledge to better solve these problems. PSSI also gives me the chance to meet great people from both my workplace and the cohort. The PSSI program offers me a rewarding experience and makes me feel more connected to Lancaster.
