Chemistry Professor, Katherine Plass, receives the 2015 Rising Star Award

Chemistry professor, Dr. Katherine Plass, has won the American Chemical Society’s 2015 Rising Star Award, from their Women Chemists Committee, for her excellence in the scientific enterprise. This award recognizes 10 exceptional women scientists who have demonstrated outstanding promise for contributions in their respective field of study. An awards symposium will be held at the 249th National Meeting of the ACS in Denver, CO on March 23, 2015 honoring Plass and the other award winners.
