Grads to Gather at May 9 Commencement
Graduating members of Franklin & Marshall’s Class of 2026 will be honored during Commencement May 9 in the College's Alumni Sports & Fitness Center (ASFC).
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the ASFC, located on the north side of Harrisburg Avenue. Faculty and College leadership will line the center’s walkway to welcome 416 seniors proceeding toward the ceremony.
Guest attendance is limited to the graduates and their preregistered guests. Others may view the virtual Commencement broadcast at the Ann & Richard Barshinger Center for the Musical Arts; tickets are not required.
The ceremony will be broadcast live through the F&M Commencement website. An on-demand recording of the ceremony also will be available after May 9.
Members of the graduating cohort have emerged as leaders, scholars and humanitarians.

Speakers and Honorees
The May 9 ceremony will feature Commencement speaker Troy Vincent, executive vice president of football operations at the NFL and former cornerback. A five-time Pro Bowl selectee, Vincent played for 15 years, including eight standout seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles. He will receive an honorary doctor of humane letters in recognition of his transformational leadership and remarkable life of service that spans professional excellence in the NFL and devoted humanitarian work.
Also receiving honorary degrees at Commencement will be John Fry, Susan Eckert, and MaryAnn Robins. Fry, the 14th president of F&M, is the current president of Temple University and former president of Drexel University. Eckert is well known for her 25 years as the head of the United Way of Lancaster County. Robins serves as president of the Circle Legacy Center, a nonprofit organization at the forefront of supporting and empowering the Indigenous community within the City of Lancaster.
